What Is A Companion Carer?
A SupaCare companion carer is there when you need them. Whether it’s due to a long term illness or a recent operation which means you aren’t quite steady enough on your feet at the moment to look after yourself or you’re feeling isolated or lonely, we can provide someone who is patient, helpful and kind to help with your day to day life in London and the South East.
We all have times when getting around is difficult and it can mean we find it hard to cook for ourselves or to keep up with the housekeeping. Sometimes we can feel alone if we don’t have friends or family close to us and if we don’t ask for help, life can be a bit of a struggle.
SupaCare can offer live in or live out companion carers who will be there to help with jobs such as cooking and cleaning. They can also accompany you to the shops, for a walk in the park or even take you to see family and friends.
Our companion carers are from all over the world, which means they can share their experiences of their lives and their culture with you. You can be assured that they all have clear English speaking skills and we strive to match the right person to your needs.
Live In Companion Carers
A live in companion carer is prepared to work as many hours per week as required and they are then paid accordingly. They are patient and helpful and whilst they may not have specific qualifications, they will bring dedication and a genuine desire to help with them as important skills.
A live in companion carer will have basic cooking skills and will be able to run the home.
The salary is negotiable but will be around £80.00 – £120.00 per 24 hours with at least 2-3 hours off each day.
Live Out Companion Carer
We can discuss with you how many hours a week you would require a live out companion carer. They will be able to fulfil the same role as a live in companion carer with the difference being that they will not live at your home.
The salary is £10.00 – £12.00 per hour. The rate will depend on the duties they will be required to fulfil. We have a minimum call-out of 15 hours per week.
