Part – Time Nanny

The part time nanny will not necessarily be trained but they would have a great deal of experience and checkable references. A nanny with qualifications would be more expensive than one who only has experience. Within our policy all the candidates would be interviewed in our office by one of our Recruitment Consultants.

We would never send you someone who we have not met face to face, the company policy is to make sure that that the nanny would have a nice personality,  be caring, well presented and fully understand what is needed from a nanny. A part time nanny would possibly have more than one family to look after.

You may need help with your new born baby just for a few hours a day. Or help for 2 or 3 days a week while you are working at home or in the office.

The duties would include changing nappies, preparing bottles, helping with bath time which always seems to be hectic especially if there is more than one child. The nanny would be expected to look after the baby’s room doing the laundry for your all your children.

Other duties the nanny would help with would be to empty the dishwasher and keep the kitchen tidy but would not be expected to do any household duties other than related to child care.

If you have toddlers than you would possibly want the children to be taken to the park or to play groups. If its not nice enough to go out then the nanny will be expected to occupy you child or children to play at home. They could read books, paint, play with toys and generally occupy

the children and keep them happy. The parents may want the nanny to prepare food.

SupaCare has a minimum call out of 15 hours a week. Part time hours can vary from 15 to about 25 hours a week. Its up to the parents to discuss this with us and with our experience we can help to guide the Mother or Father what is best.

We endeavour to source candidates who would not have to commute  more than 40 minutes from their home.
